I need more than ten tickets, or I want to buy a table; who can I contact?

For large-quantity ticket purchases, contact the Ball Committee at uscgforcesmicronesia@gmail.com.

Can I get my ticket refunded?

Tickets can be refunded on a case-by-case basis. If you have purchased tickets but cannot attend, it is recommended that you ​transfer them to someone else. If you give your tickets to someone else, contact the committee so we can update the guest ​list. If you have any other questions concerning tickets, please contact us at uscgforcesmicronesia@gmail.com.

How do I know you received my purchase?

By using PayPal, you should have a record of your transaction, and so do we. We can also provide a receipt as desired; email ​us at uscgforcesmicronesia@gmail.com so we have your preferred email. We are in the process of having actual tickets ​printed. We appreciate your patience as the committee is all volunteers.

Can I bring a non-military guest?

Yes. Non-military guests will pay the same amount as their sponsor.

My spouse is a different rank; which price do I pay?

Dual military members will pay the price corresponding to their individual pay grades, and civilian spouses will pay the same ​rate as the member.

I have no affiliation with U.S. Coast Guard Forces Micronesia. Can I attend?

Can I bring my children?

Due to the formal nature of this military function, children are not able to attend the Coast Guard Ball. However, childcare is ​provided, but you MUST RSVP ahead of time with the committee at uscgforcesmicronesia@gmail.com.

I have a diet restriction; who should I contact?

If you have specific restrictions you want the kitchen to know about, send the Ball Committee an e-mail with those restrictions ​at uscgforcesmicronesia@gmail.com.

Is parking available?

Parking is available at the Dusit Thani and Dusit Beach Guam. First come, first serve.

Is there a hotel room block?

No. However, the Dusit and other area hotels offer military, federal, and locals only rates.

Must present relevant ID on check in.

UNIFORM FAQS

What is considered formal attire?

Men should consider wearing a dinner/dress jacket, dress trousers, hard-soled shoes, and a tie. Women should consider ​wearing a formal ball gown or a shorter fancy cocktail dress.

What uniform should I wear?

O-4 and above will wear the Dinner Dress White Jacket. O-3 and below will wear the Dinner Dress Blue but may optionally ​wear the Dinner Dress White Jacket.

Do I have to wear a uniform?

All military members are required to wear the appropriate uniform. The only exceptions are:

1) Dual military member married couples. Only one member is required to wear a uniform.

2) Single military members with a military date. Only one member is required to wear a uniform.

3) Newly reported members who may not have dinner dress. In this case, check with your command. In the event a member

does not have SDBs, formal wear is still required and can be purchased or rented on the island.
